Prime Video's God of War series might have found its new Kratos and I think he would be the perfect choice to play him

According to the sites, Dave Bautista is in negotiations to play Kratos in
the adaptation of the popular PlayStation video game. The role is being
recast after original Kratos, Sons of Anarchy 's Ryan Hurst, became injured performing a stunt on set in late June. So whilst Hurst's departure is disappointing news, it does seem like Bautista could be a great choice to
take on the iconic brooding, beefy role. He is well known to Marvel fans as Drax in the Guardians of the Galaxy films as well as being a professional wrestler in the WWE, so he's a great choice for Kratos. Latest Videos From TechRadar Watch full video here:

We previously predicted that Bautista could be a great fit for Kratos, as
well as giving our thoughts about some other God of War theories last year.

We'll have to wait for further updates to see if these reports are accurate and if he will be cast in the highly anticipated God of War adaptation. If
so, reports suggest filming could commence in fall 2026. Prime Video's series will closely follow the story of the last two God of War video games, and has been given a two-season order. Filming has been put on hold after Hurst's injury, so right now we don't have much more information.
