yeah I agree,
this is my first real attempt at running a bbs,
and I love when after a long time of changing, modifying and troubleshooting things start working the way you want, its magnificent.

Yep there's something about bashing your head against the metaphorical wall for a few days to solve a config problem and then suddenly it finally works... I agree it's a nice feeling to have cracked the case :)

yeah I agree,

same here. i worked on getting fsxnet to import messages for hours today. seems like it is working now, hoorah!

I don't think Synchronet has it, but SlyEdit does have the ability to
use taglines.

If you're using SlyEdit, it has its own tagline feature:

If not, I don't *think* there's a simple built in option, but it's fairly easy to achieve with a script. (Ask DigitalMan what method he's using to append the Synchronet "real facts" to his messages.)

If you are using SlyEdit it has support for taglines. You might need to enable them in the settings and feed the editor a tagline file.
