Could it be possible you have a typo in your newslink.cfg file regarding the above code? Make sure the msgbase codes are identical in both the cfg file and msgbase internal code. The cfg file is telling your provider what usenet group to pull but Synch doesn't have a clue where you want to put it.
No it's not that... I've posted other examples. The common denomiator when it errors out is...
I only metioned it because you did get an error stating it couldn't fine the internal MSG code...
Message 141 imported into USENET_AACTCHRO (1 of 1 total) 4 lines
!JavaScript C:\sbbs\exec\newslink.js line 356: Error: Unrecognized msgbase code: USENET_ALTACTCO
This tells me you were trying to import a newsgroup into a non-existent MSG base as it wasn't defined properly.
rsp: .
the rsp: .
And the fact that the message is very large and looks like a binary
that it can't decode. I think people are posting graphics in text newsgroups or something.
The newslink.js, as far as my system works, always imported binary albeit long and just a random set of ascii characters. Once of the reasons, before I import a newsgroup, is check to see if binary exists or is even allowed on the newsgroup. The alt.sex ones are the worst... lol.
