    Good to know, any idea how I can change it so SBBS calls command.com instead of cmd.exe or why this suddenly started happening about a month ago?

    No, there's something weird going on, but since I'm the only one talking about it, guessing it could be something I mucked with.

    You could, as an experiement, try running sbbs v3.17b (from January) and see if
    there's any difference in behavior. That would at least eliminate any changes to Synchronet in that time frame as the cause of your problem.
