    From Dream Master@1:103/705 to All on Mon Mar 18 23:28:51 2019
    Out of curiosity, is it possible to change the e-mail alias for outbound internet email? For example, right now, all outbound e-mail generated from my site on my userid is dream.master@caughtinadream.com. Is there a way to change this, as a SysOp, to real.name@caughtinadream.com?

    See SCFG --> Networks --> Internet E-Mail --> Send E-Mail Using Alias

    I had often thought it would be nice to have an option to send using alias or real name if one is logged in and send an N netmail/fido/Inet (though I am sure if it is a fidonet message it automagically uses the Realname). Perhaps a future release, if it doesn't exist already, could default to Real Name if sending via an Email Client ... just a thought.

    So you'd like to give the user the option of choosing whether to use their real name or alias when sending netmail. I'll put it on the todo list.

    That would be a great option. Often on Fidonet, real names are preferred, both on othernets, everyone knows each other by alias.

    I am not certain, but I suspect sending a netmail via FidoNet might follow the configuration at:

    SCFG --> Networks --> FidoNet EchoMail and NetMail --> Send NetMail Using Alias
