Hi Fellow Sysops :)
I wanted to add files via addfiles but it took the 8.3 filenames and not the lfn. Files are stored on a Windows Shares. Can I force to use LFN or how do I do this?

I didnt create a list file, just in the directory used addfiles like mentioned in the instructions.I have been using ADDFILES to add files with long file names on Win7, without any problems. I have the 3/1/19 version of sync. I read somewhere on the wiki though that LFN is not supported in the linux version?
Afterwards I read v4.00 will support LFN...
So I know I have to wait or use 8.3 format.

I only have trouble with LFN when I do a "blind upload".
There is an option in SCFG -> File System -> Show Long File Names, I would assume this option is only for display, but maybe its tied into ADDFILES somehow?

Thanks I will check those settings. I'm using Windows 10 but the files are on a SMB share.
