• importing locally created netmail msg file

From Rampage@1:103/705 to All on Tue Jan 1 11:37:50 2019
i am trying to figure out how to get sbbsecho to import some locally created msg netmail files... they were created by makenl and are addressed to my Coordinator alias that is listed in sbbsecho.ini's SysopAliasList line...

they originate from one of my local addresses and are addressed to another of my local addresses... sbbsecho doesn't even acknowledge seeing the first three but it definitely saw and sent the 4th one to which i've already gotten a reply to, too... it should have see them in the 10:56:49 run below when it saw and handled 404.msg... or did i trigger sbbsecho in reverse order and i should have done FIDOOUT first and then FIDOIN? FIDOIN uses -ce and FIDOOUT uses -ni...

If you capture/view the console output when SBBSecho runs, you'll see more detail about the netmail "stored message" (*.msg) files that it discovers.

it should have see them in the 10:56:49 run below
when it saw and handled 404.msg... or did i trigger sbbsecho in reverse order and i should have done FIDOOUT first and then FIDOIN? FIDOIN uses -ce and FIDOOUT uses -ni...

See how they all have the "LOCAL" attribute? By default, SBBSecho will not import locally created netmail unless you have IgnoreNetmailLocalAttr option set to true in your sbbsecho.ini file. Do you?

i'm running with debug mode on just about everything... i think my sbbsecho is included in that...

See how they all have the "LOCAL" attribute? By default,

have IgnoreNetmailLocalAttr option set to true in your

OH! ok... i've looked at that a few times and it just never clicked...

    Do you?

    i do now! hahaha...
