  • userprops.js ?

    All,

    I tried to use the inter-bbs instant message module, and when I try to load it, I get the error" SBBS/exec/userprops.js: No such file or directory'?

    Which is weird, because it worked a month ago, and I didn't change anything. I even did a 'locate' in linux to see if I had that file anyplace on my system. even looked at another install of synchro on another computer, didn't have it nad even did a FRESH install on another computer and can't find it. What is this file and where can I find it?

    It's in cvs/load. If you perform a 'cvs update -d' in the exec directory, that should upload the load sub-directory too, and you'd get exec/load/userprops.js as well as other changes in that directory. http://cvs.synchro.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/exec/load/userprops.js

    I did go to the cvs though, I fiugred that it would be there, I just copied that (and there was a user(something) file missing too. I copied both and it's working again.

    sbbs_src.tgz doesn't include any run-time files (text/menu files, scripts, etc.) - just source code. See this for details: http://wiki.synchro.net/install:dev#run-time_files
