  • AOL blocking synchronet mail?

    Whenever I try to send email to addresses on the AOL.com domain from my BBS, the messages are being blocked.

    I'm using Vert's mail service, not running my own local smtp server.

    Has cvs.synchro.net been blacklisted in recent months? (I first noticed this issue with some emails in June, but didn't follow up on it)

    Checking AOL Postmaster's "reputation checker" isn't helpful. It says the reputation is "undisclosed":

    I had a similar issue years ago with a VPS ip that had been blocked. I had to email aol support. After answering their email questionnaire, they removed the block. It seems maybe they changed some things. Try going here: https://postmaster.aol.com/sa-ticket
