Hi all,

I have a couple FTN networks (FidoNet and AgoraNet) on my BBS, and a while ago I noticed that my messages don't seem to be sending out to those networks anymore. I haven't really gotten to seeing what the problem is, but I just had a look at my sbbsecho.log and noticed a lot of lines such as this:

Configuration for 10TH_AMD-linked-node (1:340/0) not found in D:\BBS\sbbs\ctrl\sbbsecho.ini

I had upgraded to sbbsecho v3 a while back, and I'm wondering if I may have missed a step, but I'm not sure what I need to do to correct those errors. What sort of configuration would be missing?
Also, this seems to be just the FidoNet areas. It seems my messages are not being sent to AgoraNet either. I can download new messages from these networks but it seems it's just my messages that are not being sent out.

This warning means you have an area in your areas.bbs file which contains a "linked-node" address which is not configured (there's no corresponding [node:1:340/0] section in your sbbsecho.ini). If 1:340/0 is your uplink, then that would explain why your messages haven't been getting out.

I see. Yeah, I'm not sure why I didn't have that in my sbbsecho.ini..

I change a setting, on my side, up for someone else (for another error) and forgot to let everyone else know - bad me :(
