  • sbbsecho and passive links

    can we get a slight change in the sbbsecho code or maybe in echocfg so that when a link is set to passive, areafix notices are NOT sent to them even if "send notices" is specifically set to yes?

    doing it in echocfg would be as simple as setting "send notices" off when passive is set on... then sbbsecho doesn't need any changes... the only thing would be when turning passive off, remembering to turn "send notices" back on manually, too...

    but thinking about it further, if a link goes on vacation and turns passive on via areafix, they'll still get notices because "send notices" is still on... maybe both sbbsecho and echocfg would need to be adjusted for this?
