• NEW BBS Install

Gave up on trying to get sbbs running on the POS PC I had under Deb9.5, so I did a fresh Slackware 14.2 install and up'd a new BBS on it Called The Empty Keg (was the first BBS I ran in '94/95 sbbs200g).

Just seeing if I have it set up correctly

Going to keep twisted truckers bbs running on the RPI and use this one as my personal. Two best I see I found for sbbs so far is Windows and slackware

I got SBBS working pretty well on Debian 9.5... what did you have issues with?

I live in Oregon. I do enjoy the mild weather here. People complain about the rain, but I don't mind it so much. I suppose it's better than extreme hot or extreme cold. And it's actually mainly in the northwest and Willammette Valley where it rains a lot. Otherwise, much of Oregon is a desert and doesn't get much rain. I lived in Bend, Oregon for a year and it hardly rained at all in the year I lived there (Bend tends to advertise something like 340 dry days a year or something). I moved back to the northwest of Oregon, which is where I'm currently living.
