  • changing the default telnet port

    Hello Sysops,

    I'm trying to change the telnet port in the BBS. I changed it in SBBS.ini and restarted, however the new port did not become effective. Is there another place I need to enter the port number as well?

    I tested the change using SyncTerm.

    ; TCP port for Telnet server:
    TelnetPort=2300

    That's the only place where I have the telnet port set.

    Sure you don't have a firewall rule blocking it?
