I am sure there is not much of a need for this, or it would already exist :) but I threw together a little commandline user editor similar, in fact modeled after makeuser.js, called edituser.js with a little help by DM and echicken, thank you both.
The utility can be downloaded via wget

Not claiming it is perfect but it works adequately :)
ie: jsexec edituser.js alias -V syspass -O "New Real Name" -U newalias -Q newhandle -P newpaswd the -V syspass is required and is the System Password for you BBS
