in the default bulletins, #3 says it is "About this version of Synchronet BBS Software"... it does properly show that we're running "3.17a Debug" but a couple of lines down, it says "32-bit Multi-threaded Bulletin Board System Software for the Internet Age"... ummm, AFAIK, all the binaries we're building on this 64bit system are 64bit...
$ file sbbs
sbbs: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, interpreter /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2, for GNU/Linux 3.2.0, BuildID[sha1]=4d3b29d0d016274d304eac3e885705f966776e51, with debug_info, not stripped
yes, it isn't a big deal but since we can build and run a 64bit sbbs with all its binaries, i thought that maybe that might want to be changed a little bit ;)
yes, i understand that this is also an example bulletin and that we can change it how we like if we even keep it at all... i was just looking at what others see in a default installation :)
