Hmm, did you install the "stable" version of Synchronet? (6.16c)? This version does not include BinkIT. You need to install the development version (3.17), or upgrade your existing installation to the latest dev build.

BinkIT works with v3.16 too. He just needs binkit.js and it's dependencies (other .js files, mainly in exec/load). Oh, an updated (v3.x) version of SBBSecho and echofg would be recommeded too.

Looks like you can download the parts you need to add BinkIT to 3.16c. See the post from Digital Man for the details. Or you can simply upgrade to 3.17 and get all the cool new features as well.

There have been some additions to the JS API since 3.16c, so there's some chance that it uses (and may have driven the addition of) something new. Unless the wiki page lists a "recent" 3.17 build as a requirement, it'd be difficult to say without just running it to see what happens.

And honestly, it was a guess. It sounds like from other reports here, it might not actually work with v3.16.

I know TickIT won't, because I kept adding various scripts, until I encountered what looked like base functions that weren't implemented. Dunno about BinkIT, as I've never attempted to run that one, I was already using binkd.
