From ALAN@1:123/140 to ALL on Tue Sep 25 19:36:40 2018
    When I do this.....

    c:\exec/jsexec binkit install

    I get.....loosely

not an operable program or batch file.

    How I fix????

    When I do this.....
    c:\exec/jsexec binkit install

Is that really the path to jsexec on your system? Perhaps:

    c:\sbbs\exec\jsexec binkit install

An actual error message instead of what you're sorta loosely getting would help identify the problem with more certainty. :)

"c:\exec" doesn't look right. Did you mean "c:\sbbs\eexc"?

Also, when running commands from a Windows command prompt, you need to use backslash (\) as a path separator. Are you new to MS-DOS or Windows too?

You are of course likely right. How did that / get in there? I thought I
    cut and pasted. Oh well.

Sorry I should have written it all down rather than paraphase it.

I think that was a typo, somehow.

I was first introduced to computers in the early 80's with DOS. I
consider myself to be about a medium user.

    Hopefully that will work.

Your system puts a lot of the configuration into the hands of the sysop.
Hard to learn but I see myself as getting there. Hopefully I can set
binkIT up today and poll my bossnode.

Oddly enough, I tried running 'c:\sbbs\exec/jsexec' on a Windows test machine last night - lo and behold I got the jsexec help output. Who knew.
