I think I have an issue with my BBS. If I send messages out they have a different time stamped on the messages after I send them out...
I have checked the time on my system(s)... anything on my end that might have anything to do with the mail. I am running my BBS on a raspberry pi unit and I and the learning curve is great. I am not sure where the problem comes from...

How are you checking the timestamps on the messages after they're sent out? Do they change on your system? If not, are you seeing this on other BBSes? If you're seeing it on other BBSes, I wonder if those BBSes are doing a time zone conversion to show in local time, etc.

Joe, have a look at the thread in the Raspberry Pi echo for more on this. It's nothing to do with you or the BBS software. There are some in Usenet grumbling about the Usenet gateway I am running and the timezone stamps it's applying to gated messages coming in from the Fido side. It's a non issue, the software is configured correctly, has been running fine for several years, and is only an issue to 1-2 people who don't like the format is gates content in to Usenet posts.
