  • Update your ircd.conf C/N lines

    For anyone running an ircd on synchronet, I'd highly encourage everyone to update their C/N lines.

    If vert.synchro.net dies, you're all alone because there's no other hubs in ircd.conf as default if I remember.

    Simply copy your C: and N: for vert.synchro.net and add a new pair for cvs.synchro.net

    You'll also need a H: line for cvs.synchro.net too.

    /rehash your server (when logged into the ircd an ircop) or restat your
    ircd process.

    Now, if vert ever dies, your server will connect to cvs instead.
