I setup TickIT a week ago, and for the most part it's working well. However, when my system did its weekly hatching, I noticed something peculiar. I generate my tic files using a set of scripts, and I use the "Replaces" line on my nodelist, so downlinks only see the latest nodelist. However, on Synchrnet, where I am using TickIT, this doesn't seem to be working. I hatch the file with the "Replaces" set to replace the old nodelist with the current one. This gets sent to my Mystic hub, along with the file being hatched, and then Mystic sends that to all of my downlinks. Here is what the TIC looks like after Mystic has processed it:

I believe it does. I receive several files like fsxinfo.zip weekly that need to be replaced.

I notice the weekly and daily nodelists are not coming in with a replaces keyword now. I'm not sure what will happen when a nodelist arrives and a like named file already exists. I suspect I will have to solve that somehow. So far so good.. :)

I do get an error if I receive a file with a tic that already exists and there is no replaces line in the tic.

Good question.

Yes it does. By default it will not replace an existing file without the replaces keywork.

I believe there was an option added for the command line to override that but I'd have to look that up in the wiki.. :)

Hmm, I'll have to keep an eye on the infopack, but on my system it's not removing the file being replaced, at least where the filename is different.

Support is in the code, yes. Whether it was test or not or how well it works, I can't say.
