    I am very green to Synchronet, I can not seem to figure out how to edit menu files can someone give me a good explanation of what to use??

    I am running Linux Mint - everything I find is about winblows

    a text editor.. most of the menu files are in Javascript now, although you can still compile and run the Baja ones, the Baja source files are located in /sbbs/exec as *.src, and when compiled are called *.bin, it would be better off nowadays just to do it with JS though.. check the Synchronet Wiki for more info.
