The sysop has programmed an event to occur that needs ALL users offline.

Exactly as it says. A scheduled event is coming up before your login would normally expire, so your login time has been shortened to allow the event to proceed. Pretty standard for BBSs, more so in the old days when scheduled mailer sessions had to share the phone line with users.

First, you need to get a new editor as it's cutting off your message at 45 columns. Should be 79.

To fine the event, open SCFG > External Programs > Timed Events and you can searcg for one that forces user off. It's probably MSGMAINT.

and remember that there's only 1440 minutes in a day... i've seen way too many operators trying to assign more than that so as to have unlimited time and it just can't be done...

    A default Timed Event likely.

    event is causing that.

Look at your events and see which one fires off at that time, more than likely your smbutil events to kill dead messages and emails, or some other event that would require all nodes to be clear.

or an event you mistankly added and set to exclusive execution.
