What protocol driver are you using on the BBS side (e.g. sexyz)?
Do SSH downloads work on *other* BBSes for you (e.g. Vertrauen)?

That's odd. Must be something peculiar to your environment. I've used SSH heaps of time for QWK transfers and no issues. And I use SyncTerm with Synchronet too.

I've never had a problem till now. Not sure what happened. I had just assumed it was
on my BBS side as I had just changed over to Linux and have had a few issues.

I've had similar issues with my system, I can't download or upload anything using SyncTerm (latest build) and any connection method,
telnet, ssh, rlogin, etc. transfers just slowly timeout, no data sent.
zmodem triggers automatically so something is attempted, but the data never gets pushed.
Gonna try a couple other BBSs and maybe see if I have another terminal program to try.

That's weird all round, got me scratching my head. :)

I'm at a loss.... I tried from two different computers with the same results. One at
home and one at work.

Well I just tried it myself (even going back to SyncTERM 1.0) and file transfers over SSH are not working for me either. So it's not just you. Probably some recent change on the BBS/server-side. I'll look into it.

That makes sense, I haven't updated SBBS since the start of the year, and I haven't seen the issue. Thumper, do you want to try my board? That could confirm this theory. Address is in the tagline, SSH port is 222.

And with native doors over SSH, the input from the user is never
received. So it's definitely an sbbs issue and seems to affect both Windows and *nix builds.

I think the problem is now fixed (in CVS), was introduced in March of
this year.
