Hello,

I just noticed that when logged in using SSH, I cannot download QWK packets.
It times out every time. Not sure how to proceed....

What protocol driver are you using on the BBS side (e.g. sexyz)?

Do SSH downloads work on *other* BBSes for you (e.g. Vertrauen)?

That's odd. Must be something peculiar to your environment. I've used SSH heaps of time for QWK transfers and no issues. And I use SyncTerm with Synchronet too.

I've had similar issues with my system, I can't download or upload anything using SyncTerm (latest build) and any connection method, telnet, ssh, rlogin, etc. transfers just slowly timeout, no data sent.

zmodem triggers automatically so something is attempted, but the data never gets pushed.

Gonna try a couple other BBSs and maybe see if I have another terminal program to try.

Hmm, something to do with the latest build? I run an older binary on my Windows machine, though so far, no issue on Linux either, where I compiled SyncTerm a couple of weeks ago.

Testing will help narrow it down.

Yeah, I've never seen it, and I have used SSH when not at home, depending on the machine I'm using (SyncTerm doesn't run on the XP netbook).

That's why I didn't encounter it myself, I'm running a version older than March (installed from CVS on New Years Day). :)

I should backup and upgrade though, you've certainly added some good features and squashed a few bugs since then. :)
