Cool. You'll want to fix your QWKnet tagline however if you want to get users: * Synchronet * Hard Core BBS - 192.168.0.3

"192.168.0.3" is a private IP address.

Hi, you might want to add your bbs to the live BBS list at https://bbslist.synchronetbbs.org - it checks your bbs several times a day and it can email you if your BBS goes down unexpectedly. Would love to see you there!

So, just something to think about, since https://bbslist.synchronetbbs.org seems geared towards Sysops, you may want your e-mails to go out as text only. It took me a good 5 minutes to find the registration confirmation link in the mountain of html, then I had to copy/paste the confirmation link, which was spread out over 4 lines in my terminal window, into my browser.

    Hello!

I'm surprised to find an active bbs community out here. I used to run a BBS and decided to set one up again. Thanks for keeping this software alive!

I'm not sure I'll be able to find my old registration codes for my door
games. I know I registered LORD & LOD but can't remember what else.

I'll probably have some questions as I set things up. I'm not sure I will actually have any users but this brings back some good memories.

There is actually a resurgence and revival of the BBS scene. People are are getting tired of the ads being constantly shoved in their faces on pretty much every social media site out there and are actively looking for alternatives.

I'll probably have some questions as I set things up. I'm not sure I will actually have any users but this brings back some good memories.

Come on with the questions. I'm sure SOMEONE around here will be able to answer them.

And you just might be surprised about the number of users you may get.

I tend to filter out ads on a lot of web pages, so I don't really pay attention
