Hi
I am using the latest Synchronet compilation (Synchronet for Linux v3.17 ) in a Centos box (entOS Linux release 7.4.1708 (Core))
I was using scfg --> Nodes as I wanted to add some more nodes.
The "INS" wasn't working for unknown reason and eventually it created Node number 5.
I tried to create some more nodes, but I never managed to get any further then node5.
Now, I decided to delete node5 and it happens in the scfg --> Nodes successfully to discover the node5 directory was still live and I also get:
./node list
Synchronet Node Display/Control Utility v1.30
Node 1: User #1 posting message via telnet
Node 2: Waiting for connection
Node 3: Waiting for connection
Node 4: Waiting for connection
Node 5: Offline
Which to me is very odd...
Has anybody seen anything like this before?
Any idea how can I troubleshoot all this?
I have tried to move node5 away but I cannot appreciate any change, also note the amount of defined nodes in scfg --> Nodes is only 4.
Extra information, I currently got in sbbs.ini
; This server handles this range of BBS nodes:
; LastNode should not be higher than the number of nodes configured in SCFG->Nodes
FirstNode=1
LastNode=4
Many thanks
