I just tried to send a file attached netmail to echicken@VERT/ECBBS. When I start the process, it asks me if I want to send a file as well, which I
answer "yes". I write the text of the letter expecting once I save it, the upload screen to appear. Nope, just blows right past it out the the menu
again. I have no problem uploading a file to a local mailbox going through
the same procedure.
I'm using Open!EDIT as my external if that makes a difference.

Sorry, file attachments aren't supported in QWK netmail. There should be an error or warning or something displayed to the user, but currently there is not. You can send files to a single-hop via QWKnet pretty easily (without a netmail), but you're trying to send a file 2-hops away and that's not supported (with or without a corresponding netmail message). If you send an Internet email with an attachment (i.e. MIME-encoded) to ecbbs [at] vert.synchro.net however, it should get to echicken on his system intact.

OK.. thanks for the explaination. This was the first time I ever tried an attachment via QWK. I assumed it worked like FTN. My apologies...
