I found a new message coming up today which I have never seen is this something that will become a problem or is it nothing to worry about.
1/30 03:30:47p Node 1 !JavaScript warning c:\sbbs\exec\load\require.js line 2: Terminated
"Terminated" just means that the script was terminated. Likely, not critical. If you know the steps to reproduce it, let us know and maybe can at least get the warning to go away.

This would show up in the terminal window when I would logoff of my
bbs.
And you're running a recent build of v3.17?
where can I find this elusive 3.17?
Google won't tell me.

It's the current (in development) version. You can get it from cvs or there are .tgz and .zip files on Vertrauen.
Backup before you proceed. :)

You have to download the sourcecode and build it, or at least patch it together from nightly builds it has'nt been released yet.

So this implies that there's some way to enter control characters into the subject field of messages posted using SlyEdit (!). If that's not already fixed (i.e. Mojo isn't running the latest version of SlyEdit), then it should be.
Of course, I can add more field validation/clean-up in more places to be sure that doesn't happen, but the editor shouldn't do that either. :-)

So this message from Mojo has an interesting anomoly: The subject line contains a control character (a carriage-return):

I alway's backup my whole system :)
I am thinking however I might just take Synchronet off my Windows box
and redo my BBS on my Linux box.

I just did another update to things as of Tuesday afternoon. Prior to that it had been almost two weeks since I had done any updates.
Should I be doing updates daily?

SlyEdit does not allow editing the subject line (and has never allowed editing the subject line). Synchronet itself prompts the user for the subject, and SlyEdit leaves the subject unchanged. So I'm not sure how that control character would have gotten there.
SlyEdit doesn't allow editing the subject, but I saw your update to fseditor.js for stripping control characters from the information read from the drop file. I can make the same change to SlyEdit, although I don't think SlyEdit has any way to change the subject once entered into Synchronet. I made the change to SlyEdit and tried replying to Mojo's message, but the subject line still seemed to have the control character. I'm not sure what SlyEdit could do to prevent that.
