I fixed this one a couple of days ago; update your local copy of exec/avatars.js and
that error should go away.

I get an error now...

This will update scripts and such within your exec/ directory tree, but you won't get a new build out of it.

In this case, you have an updated script that relies on an updated build of Synchronet.

Often newer files in exec rely on new features in the executables (e.g. libsbbs.so). So you'll need to cvs update your source and rebuild it too.

Im getting an error with DDMsgAreaChooser:

Anyone know what might be the issue? Just pulled sbbs from gitlab and compiled.

Something to do with collapsable menus, which I don't understand and don't know how to setup. We'll have to wait to see what Nightfox says.

Might be helpful to tell him what keypresses from the main menu get you to this error, and what message area names it's trying to display when it fails.

I'm not following your question. I enabled ddmsgareachooser and when I run it I get that error. On the menu.

I guess it's a two-part question.

1. How/where did you enable it. I expect you put the files in /mods, but where did you change configurations to "enable" it?

2. Where specifically are you running it from. What menu are you on, and what key do you press?

I'm not seeing that error when I run it on my system. It would be helpful to know what you did when you saw this error.
