  • Listening on multiple IPs?

    Hi all, especially DM.

    Is there a way to get Synchronet to listen on multiple specific IPs? (i.e. NOT 0.0.0.0 or ::). I would like my Synchronet 3.17 system to listen on 2 IPv4 addresses and one IPv6. Will settle for 1 of each in a pinch. Is this possible?

    Yes. Just specify those IP address, separated by commas, in the "*Interface" value(s) of your ctrl/sbbs.ini file.

    Thanks. Just needed to know the syntax, as the wiki didn't give a multiple IP example. Will give it a whirl. BTW, do IPv6 addresses need to be in square brackets, or just as is?

    Just as is or with the brackets, I think both syntaxes are supported.
