• Found the games problem

    Hi Digital Man,

I have now found the problem as to why the games would not work on my bbs. Some how the sbbsexec.dll had been removed from the windows\system32 folder. It was there as the games worked for a while. Why this happened is a mystery to me and one I may never figure out. But the good things is that the games work again. This has saved me alot of work having to setup a whole new instance of the bbs again.

Thanks again for all your help with this

Glad you found the fix. I had to do a similar deal with another doorgame awhile back, before it loaded...because somehow, some of the data files got deleted between one user using the door, and another one using it. Thankfully, I haven't run into that problem with SBBS. Plus, with SBBS's intercept I/O feature, I can run a bunch of non-fossil doors on the system, without having to do some kind of funky workaround.
