  • Origin line not showing when posting on Fidonet or sending Netmails

    Hi guys,

    I have a problem. When is send a netmail of post in a echo my origin line is not showing. I have already set a origin line in sconfig. Still no luck.

    Can anybody help me out?

    Firstly, netmail doesn't contain an origin line, so that's normal.

    Secondly, each sub-board can have its tag/origin line disabed in the "network options" in SCFG:

    Network Options --------------------------------------------------------
    Append Tag/Origin Line Yes

    If that is set to "No", then echomail messages won't contain the origin line either.

    Echomail you post won't have an origin line on localy saved messages but sbbsecho will add it when it sends it out.

    Your message does have an origin line here.. :)

    For what it is worth, your sbbsecho fido origin line showed up here. As Digital Man pointed out, you may have some areas set not to show an origin
    line that should be set otherwise.
