To anyone running Sports Stats, wanted to let you know I've updated it with changes for both the web and ANSI clients.
The biggest change is that Sports Stats will only make one big JSON request per webpage or per ANSI session, rather than a bunch of small ones. This should hopefully help my BBS avoid getting hammered if bots view Sports Stats on the web.
I also changed the installation instructions to show how to hide Sports Stats from public view on the web, restricting it to only registered users. I ask all sysops to please make this change if possible. It will help me out.
There are some other tweaks, like using Tree.js for part of the main
menu, and fixing the New York football teams' names on the standings
page, etc.
