Hello,
A downlink told me that the AreaFix %HELP command did not repond. I tried the command myself from another BBS I run and I was able to confirm that the %HELP command did nothing. I didn't try all of the other commands but LIST, QUERY, Adding Echos, and a few other commands worked properly.
sbbsecho.log shows that the command was recieved but no message created. I looked at the src code and found another command %ECHOSTATS.. I was earger to try that.. but it doesn't respond either.
I'm running Linux, sbbsecho 3.03. Any help would be appiecated.
Can you search through your sbbsecho.log file for "AreaFix (for addr) Received command:" (where addr is the node address in question)?
The command "ECHOSTATS" by itself won't do anything, you have to specify an echo to query stats on (e.g. "ECHOSTATS <echo-tag>" where <echo-tag> is the area/echo tag you want to query).

Debug Level

Nothing else happens. or is logged.
And yes areamrg.hlp is present, if were to be missing an error is generted in the log file (I tested that).
Re: AreaFix %HELP command
Okay, I see now. Looks like I broke the HELP command in rev 3.59. I'll be committing a tested fix shortly.
