    Hiya Rob...

I'm pretty sure you've answered this before but... here goes.

I made some changes to the answer.asc file. It is slightly longer with regard to total lines. Now what happens is when you first logon, you see the Synchronet version line than a <hit a key>. Is there anyway I can get the hit a key to disappear and roll into the answer.asc file?

I've used TheDraw to create an .ans and then ans2asc.exe to convert

    Thanks

Yes. Firstly, when you save an ANSI using TheDraw, use the Block-save (Alt-B) feature. This will insure that you're not accidentally saving any blank lines or animation sequences.

Secondly, examine the file using a hex viewer. It sounds like the first few bytes of your file contained some text and *then* a screen-clear or home sequence. If you use block-save, that should go away.

You can also add a @nopause@ (or @poff@) code to top of your file, but that's more of a work-around.

Yes. Firstly, when you save an ANSI using TheDraw, use the Block-save (Alt-B) feature. This will insure that you're not accidentally saving
any blank lines or animation sequences.

I always use the 'block-save' but I'll go back and do it again.

Secondly, examine the file using a hex viewer. It sounds like the first few bytes of your file contained some text and *then* a screen-clear or home sequence. If you use block-save, that should go away.

The file has an extended character on the first line so not sure if that would create the issue.

You can also add a @nopause@ (or @poff@) code to top of your file, but that's more of a work-around.

I added the @NOPAUSE@ and then saved it with <N>one with regard to clearing screen. I've tested it and it works as advertised. Thank you so much...
