Terry, make sure you include path to regular nodelist in ftn_domains.ini [fidonet]
Zones=1,2,3,4,5,6
OutboundRoot=/sbbs/fido/outbound/
NodeList=/sbbs/fido/nodelist/nodelist.123
if you don't, you will get the example.com domain
also, you can specify port on a per node basis in your binkit.ini
[10:1/1@othernet]
Host=coolbbs.example.com
Port=24556
Password=MaxSecret
Poll=yes

I have yet to get it to work - but I keep trying :-)

Janis is doing something on her end, I forget exactly what -- but when I poll 261/38 on port 24555 my mail works, if I poll her on 24554 there's no mail waiting on her end.

At a guess I would say two different instances of binkd, each with its
own configuration.

That's correct...when she was my hub, I had to set that up. I think I just have the traditional BinkP port 24554 in my router, but I could change it to include 24555 and 24556, if I had to.

This is a DIFFERENT net than SportNet. It doesn't have as many echoes
as SportNet has.

It became increasingly difficult to find news releases, etc., that were in MP>straight text and that could be easily posted.... and that were not MP>copyrighted/"exclusive" (as opposed to public releases).
It also became more difficult for me to bridge in the usenet newsgroups MP>that were included... in part because they have mostly dried up.
