    Anyone using D'Bridge 3.99/SR11 Standard Edition, I can't get it to use port 24557, also the online help seems to be incorrect for some of the areas highlited when pressing F1. I was wondering if there are problems with this version. Anyway, here is the error message I get when I tried to start up binkd to use dbridge. Keep in mind, I'm using IREX fine on prot 24557, so I know it's not a port issue. And yes, I don't have IREX online when I tested dbridge. My end goal is to replace IREX with Dbridge.

    C:\PROGRAMS\DBRIDGE>binkdwin -c dbridge.bnk
    ? 13:37 [2992] 24557: incorrect port (getaddrinfo: Either the application has not called WSAStartup, or WSAStartup failed. )
    13:37 [2992] dbridge.bnk: line 31: error in configuration files
    ? 13:37 [2992] 24557: bad port number
    ! 13:37 [2992] error in configuration, aborting

    he did post in another echo on fidonet... i responded there... it may have been the dBridge echo...

    I emailed him last night, and got an answer. Seems like there is a bug in Binkd. He sent me to the binkd site to download an older version, and it seems to work now. Now all I have to do is tweek a new mailer... Thanks for the reply Mark.
