Hi DM,
There's an issue I had seen using the old SBL door that I've seen again with the new JS version (so I suspect it might not be an issue with the door itself, but perhaps with how data is stored). For the "since" date for my BBS, I had originally entered 1994-05-01 (May 1, 1994), and yesterday in the JS BBS list door, I noticed it was shown as 1994-01-05. I had seen that in the old SBL door and had corrected that on Vertrauen. Yesterday I updated my BBS listing in the door on my BBS and corrected the date to 1994-05-01.
I also made another update (removed a network I no longer carry); I checked my entry on Vertrauen, and I saw that it got the update (it doesn't have the network I removed), but its "since" date on Vertrauen still shows 1994-01-05 (month & day swapped).

How do you have the setting SCFG->System->Toggle Options->European Date Format set? I'm pretty sure sbbslist.js won't import that date right if you have it set to European format. I'll have to fix that.

I just committed a fix for sbbslist.js so that "European date" setting won't change how the old SBL listings are imported.

I had my European Date Format setting set to "No", but I'll download the update and give it a try.

It looks like it didn't make a difference. After the update, I saved my BBS entry again on my machine; I just checked my entry on your BBS and it still lists the Since date with the month & day swapped.
The entry here on my BBS was created locally:
Created by Nightfox on Apr 05 2009 locally
So that means it can't (normally) be over-written via the network (syncdata message base). So... any changes you make, including the birth date, aren't going to be imported. sbbslist.js import (ran here reports this:
Msg #5290 from Nightfox@DIGDIST: Nightfox@DIGDIST attempted to update/over-write local entry: Digital Distortion
Msg #5290 from Nightfox@DIGDIST: Nightfox@DIGDIST attempted to
update/over-write local entry: Digital Distortion
I see.. I just logged onto Vertrauen and updated the Since date for my BBS.

The entry here on Vert and yours on your BBS (and posted to SYNCDATA) should not be synchronized. Is it possible you just didn't have that networked listed in your entry on Vert from before?
if i'm understanding this exchange between you and rob correctly, i think that if it were me and i wanted to maintain my listing from my bbs, i would log into Vert and delete my entry there... then i would update my entry on my BBS to make sure it is sent to Vert for further propagation...

I tried that earlier today. I deleted my BBS entry on Vertrauen, and I even created a brand-new entry for my BBS on my local BBS. So far, it seems my entry hasn't shown up on Vertrauen yet.

I can confirm whatever you did must have made it to Vertrauen, because your new BBS entry arrived here and was imported this morning. I only noticed because I was going over my logs from the past 12 hours to make sure the new setup is working properly, and saw that your BBS entry was imported.
So far, it seems my entry hasn't shown up on Vertrauen yet.
