    Synchronet v3.17 (still in development) adds support for IPv6.

    Hmm.. I thought I had seen news servers or news readers with messages addressed to specific names.

    AFAIK, there's only one that offers that capability... JAMNNTPd... it is built to provide messages stored in the JAM message base format... depending on the settings, it /can/ provide a "To:" address on the message base side of the fence but the news side won't show that... IIRC, this also means the "From:" field is different than normal so that there is something for the news server to work with to attach a "To:" field in the reply...

    Also I had to add a line in nntpd to force it to do all if to is same news
    group name due to some echo nc complaints in the past.
