Hi Bill

Yes I do have the command line as ?bbslink lord

and as above I not sure how to edit the codes that I got from bbslink
in to bbslink.js as line 74 is the 1st code I have to put in and
the compiling parts not helping things either.

I have now got BBSLink to work with the help from VK3jed, it was to do with
the code I got from bbslink, it was to do with these ("""")in bbslink.js once I put "1code" between them both it work fine. so am now I am underway with bbslink via my bbs, so thank you for your help.

Just a side comment here Sneaky, I was on your FTP server and noticed most of your file directories have the info.zip trojan.
you might want to limit who can upload to your BBS as many of us have had to do.
I had some idiot upload the photo.scr to all my dirs

Yeah, have to lock things down, I had the same issue in the early days of my Synchronet BBS, didn't take me long to lock things down.

Yeah, have to lock things down, I had the same issue in the early days of my Synchronet BBS, didn't take me long to lock things down.

Yes it's sad that you need to be so careful with people uploading, I locked mine down so that only I can upload to my BBS.
But thats ok because I can make sure my content is all leagle and not pirated or full of viruses.
I have some of the older CD's that are more for nostalgia than downloading.

Yes, there's so many knobheads around these days. But as I said a while back, other than niche stuff, I don't see much of a role for BBSs carrying files, given that all the open source and shareware is out on the Internet these days.
All one needs to carry are things like nodelists and BBS stuff created within the community. There are still new doors being written and circulated via file echoes, for instance.

And that's what I'd include in my definition of "niche", good stuff for your filebase. :)

Yeah, I mainly carry only what comes across on the FSX echoes and nodelists and stuff, and the Mystic system is my file system.
