• Telnet-based door

    From Jay C. Theriot@1:103/705 to All on Thu Sep 14 16:33:00 2017
Is it possible to build a door, etc, telnet into another board from your own?

    Thanks in advance,
    JzJ

Such a door already exists - There's a telnet gateway script included with Synchronet. I believe it is exec\telgate.js

    Thanks!

The reason, is that I'm dabbling with a C128 and would like to set up a BBS to connect as a door through SychroNET.

I'm officially on long-term disability, so I'll be able to dedicate some time to the project. I disappear from the scene due to fluctuating medical conditions, but I think I can do this.

I'll look into telgate.js. I vaguely remembered telneting from SN to other BBSs, but couldn't put my finger on it.

    Thanks!

And Mystic has the same capability built in as a menu option.
