I'm planning on setting up Sync as a second board with a new node
number.
Currently running Wildcat 5 from 1997 and want to keep it running as it is. Is it possible to assign Sync different http and telnet ports so
both boards can run at the same time? Ideally place login links to Sync
on Wildcat's main html public display screen.
Also what Fido mail tosser should i use?

Yes, it is possible. Go to wiki.synchro.net and look under the How-To section. It has it's own tosser but I would advise using binkd as a
mailer.

Hi Joe, thanks for the reply. Yes i currently have a html link to synchro from Wildcat5 public web page bbs.docsplace.org. Works like a charm.
This will be a secondary bbs on /141 to evaluate. Sent Wins7 back today for a refund.. :)

Yea me too..
I've ran Wildcat since V2.55S in 1991. Looked forward to upgrading but soon wound up very stressed out with all the bugs. One major bug prevented new users from registering. Hector fixed that bug but i would have to subscribe to his AUP to get the fix. No thanks!
I'm impressed with Synchro so far. Got the basic config set and plan on setting the backbone areas up today.
