    For some reason, my messages have stopped going out when networking. They are

    in the message base, but no longer go out on QWK. Is there a way to reset the

    message number pointer high number so qwk will see it when exporting, or a way

    to fix the message base so qwk will see the messages again. I'm sure I'm asking

    this wrong, but hopefully everyone will know what I mean. I tried to find the

    log file for qwk networking, to get a clue, but the name of the file eludes me.

    I did a message pointer reset on every system (HUB) I network with under my b

    bs's qwk name, and that didn't help either. As always, thanks

    The QWKnet export pointers are stored in data\qnet\*.ptr. Deleting one (or all) of these files will reset the export pointers for that/those hubs. I recommend doing this with caution as some networks/hubs won't deal too well with a flood of duplicate messages.

    Could be an issue with your ISP, they may be blocking 21 or now, if they hav saw a lot of traffic from you, you may to create your FTP callout to use a PASVV mod client I beleive.

    Sorry I could'nt have been anymore help, but I rember having to hook up to Kris to pull GatorNet via QWK and it would'nt aloww me, but he had a specilized qnet-ftp script.

    They are going out now. I had to rebuild all my message bases, and reset my pointers. The move to win 7, created so housekeeping chores for me. LOL, all part of our hobby. Thanks for the reply
