Hello folks,
Me again with stupid linux questions: Why? It's beyound my level of genuis.
I'm *ASS*umin this is happening in all my games, BYT EVERYONE of the are sending and receiving packets from the hub, and it appears the packets are being processed too. But, here is my dilemma:
CLANS:
I goto empire menu, initiate a fight with another nation, send out 300 horses 150 whatever and 75 whatever.. Instead of my armada going out and kicking butt like it did when I had it on the WIN machine, the soldeiers come back as if they git kist, EVERYONE OF THEM.
So I presume they are not making it ti the BBS even though the recons are
there and the packets are flowing free from inbound and out.
Here is some of my config.. yes it will look strange because it is for DOSemu:
here is my RUNCLANS.BAT, it is called by SBBS and fires up a DOSemu sessiom with with the paths, drives re-routed correctly,
@echo off
E: # clans homedire is routed here
CLANS.EXE /I ----- self eplanatory
CLANS.EXE /N% 1 ---- ""
cd outbound --------# game cmplete cd into outbound and move files into outbnd move *.* g:\qnet\time.out # G: is remapped to /sbbs/data/dirs
EXITEMU #exit emulator.
10.BAT -- Thois the file tosser, etc..
(this file is set to run 4 times dailay) I may move this to 12
@ECHO OFF
G: ---- pathe to /sbs/data/qnet
cd qnet\time.in ---- self explanatory
xcopy /Y world.zip E:\ ----- incase world.zip move to game dir e:
del world.zip ----- Remove file from inbound dir
E: ------make sure were in game dir (already mapped) pkunzip -o world.zip ------extract new world.zip
del world.zip -------delete old world.zip
CLANS.EXE /I -------proces interbbs crap
CD OUTBOUND -------explanatory
MOVE *.* G:\qnet\time.out --------move packets to outbound dir
EXITEMU --------exit DOSEemu
afaik all paths in the setup files for clans ore correct.
Someone... Ayone.. hekp.. I've had 4 hours sleep in 3 days.
