Just wondering if anyone else is able to copy/paste online programs in SCFG for Win32 1.17 pressing F5/F6. I know this used to work years back...

I just tested it and it still works. After you select an external program and hit F5, the status bar should change to this:

Okay, now it makes sense. I did not know that I had to paste into an existing entry. I was trying to paste into an empty spot at the bottom of the list. I guess it didn't make sense for me to paste over something else. I didn't want to replace anything.

Same here, I was trying to paste into an empty spot.

he checked on his system.

More like problem with the user.. lol It works if I paste *over* an existing entry. I was trying to paste into an empty line at the bottom of the list.

Would be nice if there was an Insert option that moves all the entries down and inserts the copied (or dare I say it, "Cut") entry.

Would make sorting so much easier/faster.


Summary:

1. Highlight door you want to copy.
2. Press F5
3. Go to new place where you want to copy the door entry.
4. (Optional) INSert a new door and give it a random name like 1 (Doesn't matter, you're just making a dummy place to copy the door data too)
5. Press F6 to Paste the copied door details over whatever door you have highlighted.

There's been no change in that regard (you couldn't paste over the bottom/blank entry before). I think I could do that however and it would make sense since there is now a bottom/blank entry in most SCFG item lists.

You can also just sort doors when they are displayed to the user by setting sort=true in the [xtrn_sec] section of your ctrl/modopts.ini file (requires a newish version of exec/xtrn_sec.js too).
