It sounds like you need to update your copy of DDLightbarMenu.js from CVS (in sbbs\exec\load).

Were you able to get that issue fixed on your BBS?

DM isn't the author of SlyVote, so perhaps he wouldn't have a difinitive answer. I have provided an answer to Internetking which should hopefully resolve the issue (I made an update to both SlyVote and DDLightbarMenu.js a couple weeks ago, and that SlyVote update requires the updated DDLightbarMenu.js).
