• Force Timed Events..

From Bill McGarrity@1:103/705 to Digital Man on Fri Aug 18 08:02:00 2017
    Hiya DM...

I'm running the 8-16-17 release of scfg. I just tried to 'force' a timed event (FIDOOUT) and nothing appears in the events window that sbbsecho has run. I tried a few others and nothing. All timed events DO run at their scheduled time though. Not sure if this is a bug or not.

PS... I went back to the 7-20/17 release and it is now working.

8/18 08:00:14a Semaphore signaled for Timed Event: FIDOOUT
8/18 08:00:14a Running native timed event: FIDOOUT
    8/18 08:00:14a Executing external: c:\sbbs\exec\sbbsecho.exe > c:\sbbs\events\outerror.log
    8/18 08:00:15a Timed event: FIDOOUT returned 0

    Thanks...

I just tested it and worked for me:

8/18 01:13:51p Semaphore signaled for Timed Event: FIDOOUT
8/18 01:13:51p Running timed event: FIDOOUT

There were no recent changes in the related areas of the code either.

Just went back to the 8/16 release and it worked. I'll toss this one up to take the car to the mechanic... it runs perfectly...

    Thank you...

Running the BBS package on a rasbarry pi box.... cool where technology has
    gone now...

I love the two Pi's I have here... but not running the full bbs packages... just running them as a hub with binkd and sbbsecho.

    Good luck!!
