• File is currently open by ## users problem...

I was going through my files area and noticed that I could not do anything to a file due to: "File is currently open by 34 users".

I tried restarting the BBS system (restart the pc) and moved the file to a different folder (temporarily) and nothing is fixing it.

No one is logged into the BBS except for me and it is actually in a file area that only I can access so no one else should be able to access it.

Any way to fix this and why it is happening?

To fix it, use the ;CLOSE sysop command. Why is it happening? Possibly your computer or BBS crashed while the file(s) were being downloaded?

Thanks DM... not sure how it got to be in use by so many people as no one had access to the file area other than me... but thanks for letting me know about the command. :)
