When I first set up my Synchronet BBS, I started using a free dynamic DNS service with the domain bbsindex.com. My URL there (digdist.bbsindex.com) is still active. Recently, I tried loading my BBS web page at digdist.bbsindex.com (rather than my digitaldistortionbbs.com domain which I've been uisng for a while), and I noticed Google Chrome flags digdist.bbsindex.com as a dangerous site, saying "Attackers currently on digdist.bbsindex.com might attempt to install dangerous programs on your computer....." However, when I load digitaldistortionbbs.com, it loads without any errors. So I suspect Google Chrome may have flagged bbsindex.com sites across the board? Does anyone else use bbsindex.com and have had this issue? I'm wondering if there were other sites using bbsindex.com that contained malware, causing bbsindex.com to become flagged as dangerous.

I have seen this. I used to allow others to register hosts on vkradio.com, but as the years went by, I noticed that I was getting put on spam lists, because spammers were registering "throwaway" hostnames.

I haven't used bbsindex.com, but I'd be sure another site on that domain has been spreading malware, either maliciously or having been hacked.

this is because much of the trash on the 'net use static domain providers to hide behind... we've seen the same with all similar providers... at one time, our protections blocked all of .cx because of the abuse of skiddies, spammers and scammers hiding their domains there...

hmmm, I have lordtime.bbsindex.com but before anyone start to use it DON'T, it is setup as a local ip address ( 192.168.0.5 ), but it is funny you should say this but a few days ago on my nook, I have hotdoged setup on in, and it wouldn't connect localy, being I was right next to my wireless router, I had
