    I've noticed that sorbs.net is now returning a very high number of false-positives for DNS-blacklist look-ups (anti-SPAM). If you have this host in your ctrl/dns_blacklist.cfg file: spam.dnsbl.sorbs.net and you're experiencing a lot of false-positive DNS-blacklist hits (which can result in a SPAM tag in mail headers or subjects or even rejection of the mail, depending on your configuration), you might want to consider removing it.

    I can't remember but there is a way to update your .js files from the command prompt of SBBS. What is it if there is?

    I can't remember but there is a way to update your .js files from the command prompt of SBBS. What is it if there is?


    using windows/DOS, you can either install CVS, or use WGET with the proper links to the JS files you want to update.

    afaik jsexec only runs the javascripts from the commandline.

    You may be thinking of update.js, which performs some housekeeping tasks necessary during the 3.14 -> 3.15 upgrade process. It doesn't do anything too useful these days, but it may be repurposed in the future. It won't download updates for you or anything like that.

    (The 'exec/load/' directory was introduced with 3.15, I think, and update.js mostly exists to ensure that duped files are removed from the 'exec' directory.
    Additionally it moves the contents of the user 'note' field into the user 'ip_address' field, which I think corresponds to the 'Computer' field in the user editor.)

    Not sure I know "install CVS"

    Install the CVS program, it's what is used to update the source code tree.

    but would be easier just to use wget with the correct links to the JS fiels you want to keep updated I guess.

    Install the CVS program, it's what is used to update the source code tree.

    For Windows, I like TortoiseCVS.
