    You can tell which public IP address the client is connected on by reading the clinet.socket.local_ip_address property.

    I actually received a POTS call the other day at 1200bps so of course I HAD to pull him into chat, he was on a C64, I don't know what type of terminal he was on but he sais the speed was great (for 1200) but ascii was'nt working right for him, I had all my menus at the time converted to CTRL-A, so everything should have showed up correct for him, unless he was using the wrong type of terminal. Just thought it was pretty cool.

    The first modem I ever owned was a 2400, then ended up getting two more an ISDN line, a satelitte feed for Fidonet and Apollo BBS was born, I was like 12 or 13 and had 35 subscribers.

    It could have been just a terminal width issue. Ask him to send you a screen capture or photo to help diagnose the problem. Synchronet is generally not too friendly on terminals less than 80 columns in width. I try, but it's just not well tested or used with such terminals and would likely require special menu files, text.dat, and possibly command-shell, depending on how "well" you wanted these smaller terminals to be supported by your board.

    By how he was explaining, that sounds about right, and it is more than likely the only time he'll ever "Call" he said he just dusted it of for nostalgia sake :) I Invited back via telnet.
